The MSC Committee of the Manhattan DD Council met this morning for a presentation from Michael Levy of MTA and Jackie Rumolo of CP State talking about AAR and Travel Training.
Both presenters have extensive knowledge of the topic and lots of information was provided to the 26 individuals who were present.
One of the newest innovations is the New (AAR) Metro Card which will allow all AAR uses the opportunity and flexibility to take up to FOUR FREE RIDES a day using Staten Island Railway, public busses or the subway system.
MSC’s were also presented with a better understanding of enrolling individuals into the travel training program as well as how they might be able to contribute to the program by becoming travel trainers themselves.
Overall, it was a well received and informative presentation.
