In Announcements, People First Waiver, State and City Information

The Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) has had a Request for Information (RFI) available for web based input since December 1, 2011. The purpose of the RFI is to
gather input from a broad array of stakeholders related to the Statewide Comprehensive Plan and the agency’s plans to initiate an 1115 Demonstration Waiver known as the People First Waiver.
Today, December 13, 2011, we are pleased to post the answers to requests for clarification regarding the RFI. It is anticipated that the clarification provided will help stakeholders fully understand
the questions that are posed in the RFI and ensure, through the posting of one comprehensive document, that all interested parties will receive the same information at the same time. Please be
aware that there were several questions submitted within the clarification period that were not for purposes of clarifying the RFI document. Those questions will be addressed through a separate
public document to be posted at a later date on the People First Waiver Web page. The respondents who submitted these questions will be notified of the available document at the time of
posting. Thank you for your continued interest in the People First Waiver.
