Presented by Dr. Holly Shaw
Dr. Shaw will speak on making dental visits more successful and best practices in dental home care for people with I/DD. Many of our families struggle with proper dental care for their loved one with I/DD because of sensory issues, medication side effects and poor oral hygiene.
Dr. Shaw is a dentist and Assistant Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and the sibling of a young adult with autism.
