Participants will learn how the SDMNY project has advanced self determination\, independence\, inclusion\, and dignity—while preserving individuals’ legal rights and decision making power in all areas of life\, including housing. Attendees will come away with an understanding of the key differences between guardianship and SDM\, how the SDMNY facilitation process works\, and how Supported Decision-Making Agreements (SDMAs) are being implemented.
