On Friday, September 14, as part of our continuing celebration of Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, I’ll have the opportunity to personally honor OPWDD’s direct support professionals of the year. I invite you to read each of the honorees’ stories in the 2012 Direct Support Professionals Hall of Fame.
Attached is a proclamation signed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, honoring all DSPs for the work they do each day to allow the individuals in our care to become active members of their communities.
